I wanted to take a moment to thank those of you who read my blog every day and are kind enough to leave a comment. You’ll never know how much it means to me that you are willing to take the time to leave me encouragement. It’s HUGE!!
It never fails to surprise me that for every “unsubscribe” I get, I get an email on the same day with the most encouraging comment. It’s what keeps me going!
There are also those very kind blogs that host blog parties and do features based on those parties. I have been lucky enough to have several of my posts featured. I do have a “bragging button” page that lists these kind blogs, but I’d like to take this opportunity to really give my heartfelt thanks to them.
Most recently, A Blossoming Life featured my second guest bedroom reveal.
The Farmhouse Porch featured my wreath made from bed springs.
Bliss Ranch appreciated my unfinished spray-painted upholstered chair.
Debbiedoos even asked for a tour of my home and a lot of fun people found me from there!
The blog that really put me on the map was Funky Junk Donna’s I Love That Junk when she featured my first Guest Bedroom Reveal several months ago. I thought my inbox might explode!
And that’s just a sampling….there are many others…don’t feel left out if I didn’t mention you. I’m old and my brain doesn’t function like it used to. You are still invaluable to me!
No one succeeds on their own and the blog world is no different. I’m in awe of the many blogs and the inspiring people behind them who give others a boost. They don’t have to…they just do.
And for that, I thank you!
Last, but not least, I want to thank Mr. Wonderful for being my biggest cheerleader. Not only does he have unwavering support for my blog, but he supports everything I do in this house without nary a question! And, even though I’m 45 lbs heavier than when he married me, he still feeds me! Now that’s wuv tru wuv!
Bye from the bungalow,

Hi, I'm Jean. I live in historic Butte, Montana in a Craftsman home built in 1920. This blog is all about my adventures (and sometimes misadventures) in updating and decorating my house with antiques and vintage goods I find at garage sales, thrift stores, estate sales or wherever cool things from the past are waiting to be discovered.
Your very welcome Jean! I love your creativity and your fun spirit!
Jean, there are a lot of blogs out there but I only subscribe to a few – yours is one of them. You have a great sense of humor and we have the same decoratiing style – I call my decorating “early attic”! Lots of my stuff came from family and I add to it here and there from my favorite affordable antique shops. You help us think outside the box when it comes to decorating! I really love seeing what you come up with in each post.
Jan
What a nice post. Anyone who doesn’t come check out your wonderful rustic style is missing out on that and on you. Only 45 lbs more than when you were hitched? Well I guess there is just more of me to love!
Bliss
I thank YOU. I’m always in awe over your creativity, projects, and beautiful home. Keep up the good work!!
Jean, I know what you mean about there being so many wonderful, supportive peeps in blog land! I’ve been overwhelmed! I really enjoy your blog and style
Susan
I love your style, creativity, and sense of humor! We have so many talented folks like yourself in MT and it’s refreshing and inspiring to find someone like-minded. I met you and your Mr. Wonderful at the Prairie Sister show last spring in Missoula. It was really exciting to meet both of you. Keep up the good work because I love your blog!
Hi, Jean
You are just a fresh air and just love your sweet soul. You permeate creativity and it show in your home. I always enjoy visiting your lovely blog, because you inspire me to see beauty in rusty, old and unloveable pieces. So thank you for always sharing with us and I am forever grateful to you my dearest bloggy friend.
Hugs,
Vanessa
