I’m still working on trying to get my kitchen finished…I know…it’s taking forevah! I’m procrastinating on the “not fun” part of grouting the tile.
Not to mention the fact that I’m easily sidetracked.

My latest side-tracking idea….you’ve seen the walls covered in shutters, right? I love the idea, but it’s already been done…so….
Can you see the idea that’s forming?
I’ve been staring at this wall in my master bedroom and thinking it seems kinda bare. Couple that with the fact that I’ve been trying to add more interesting architectural details in my home and BAM! this idea struck.
I’ve painted all the screens in shades of white and that, my friends, is about as far as my idea has gotten. Maybe I’ll go back to the grout until a fully-formed idea hits.
Oh, and by the by, look what I won from Knick of Time and Bel Monili!!
A beautiful necklace made from old miners tags. Could it be more appropriate? I mean, I DO live in a mining town after all. Love it!

You are kidding me, right? Stop it! I want those screen doors. I’ve been looking for some cool old ones forever and no one is ever getting rid of any. I see why now. You’re hoarding them all.
I am going to be this idea’s biggest fan, though. Love a good screen door. It is to me one of the greatest symbols of my childhood fun, running in and out of the front door to play in the neighborhood, with the screen door banging behind me.

oh my…those doors are so unique. love the chicken wire in them too. can’t wait to see the finished project! i can see how adding some items hanging from them would be nice as well.
and so you don’t feel too bad…you’re not the only one with ADD in decor projects…i’m in the midst of 3 or 4 room projects as i write! when i get frustrated or the idea just isn’t coming to fruition, i move to the next. eventually it comes full circle and they all get done.
Oh, I can’t wait to see your idea come to fruition! It’s going to be sensational! Now back to the grout …
